Welcome to Toronto’s First Post Office! Operated by the Town of York Historical Society, we are a museum, National Historic Site, and a still functioning Post Office. Our purpose is to research, interpret and promote the history of the Town of York and early Toronto, and to advocate on behalf of the preservation of the Town of York’s surviving built environment.
Join us July 7th for Canada’s Historic Places Day! Pop in for a visit, ask a costumed interpreter your questions about the Town of York, or how the postal system worked in early Toronto, and try your hand with quill and ink!
Admission is FREE.
