The Sifton-Cook Heritage Centre celebrates the history of the Lake Ontario harbour town of Cobourg.  It is housed near the centre of town in a restored stone building, recently saved from collapse, and a workman’s cottage moved to the site.

A new theme is presented each year and in 2018 “Our Built Heritage” is being celebrated.  Outdoors, a model railway tells the story of the infamous Cobourg & Peterborugh Railway.
