As of June 26, 2021 we are now open! We are open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm for the summer of 2021 with free admission, as always. Want to stop in another day? Appointments by request by donation are available. The Mahone Bay Museum is located in a registered Heritage Property built c. 1875. The home features painted ceilings, a kitchen hearth with a bread oven, and a Lunenburg bump. Our Museum features exhibits on the home, the 1753 settlement of Lunenburg with focus on Mahone Bay area, shipbuilding in Mahone Bay area, the three Churches of Mahone Bay, and more!
