Welcome to one of the first residential homes built in Powell River; Henderson House. This beautiful Arts and Craft structure, was home to the town’s first doctor; Andrew Henderson and his family Edith, Marjorie, Dorothy and Richard. Originally built in 1910, restoration of the house began in 2008 under the Townsite Heritage Society of Powell River. Today, Henderson House also serves as the headoffice of the Townsite Heritage Society and is a living museum for visitors to walk through a window into the past.
