Discover Belleville’s Treasure: Glanmore National Historic Site. This grand Victorian mansion serves as both a historic house and community museum. It was built in 1883 for prominent Belleville Banker John Philpot Curran Phillips and his wife Harriet. Glanmore was designated a National Historic Site for its exceptional 2nd Empire style architecture. The historic house has had extensive restoration. The museum exhibits artifacts original to the historic house as well as fine art and decorative objects from the Couldery collection and artifacts that are significant to local history from the Regional collection.
