Canada Historic Places Day is for buildings, sites and landscapes that celebrate Canada’s history, heritage or culture.
This year, if closed to the public, participating sites must host a virtual summer 2020 event that is registered to this website.
Participating sites might be owned or operated by governments, charities, not-for-profits, tourism agencies, local heritage businesses, arts and heritage organizations, etc.
For Sites I operate a restaurant in a heritage building. Can I be part of #HistoricPlacesDay?
Yes, you can register for #HistoricPlacesDay if your establishment is located in a heritage building. All sites are evaluated before being approved to participate in Canada Historic Places Day. #HistoricPlacesDay is a celebration of heritage sites.
